About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Fuels Strategy & Capital Planning Department as a Downstream Strategist. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Downstream business, including market trends, competitor analysis, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive business results.
  • Prepare and present research reports, market analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, think tanks, and other key stakeholders to stay informed about market developments and trends.
  • Contribute to the development of the Fuels Business Unit's long-term strategic plans, including capital and resource allocation plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the Downstream business, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will also need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
