We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding and NDT Technical Lead to join our team at Vèringer Engineering. This role will be responsible for the development and management of the technical area of welding and nondestructive testing (NDE) at the departmental level, providing technical support to the Discipline Leaders on Engineering and Construction phase at Onshore/Offshore Projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and NDT, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar function. They will be responsible for reviewing, clarifying, and validating documentation from different manufacturers, providing technical support to Discipline Leaders during the bid submission phase, and supporting the development of Pipe and Equipment Material Inspection Plans (ITPs).

The Technical Lead will also be responsible for providing technical support to Discipline Leaders during the development of Engineer of the different projects, technical support to Quality Control Surveillance (QCS) on issues related to welding and NDT, and occasional presence in PIM and/or meetings in workshops of suppliers, manufacturers, and/or clients according to the requirements of the project.

We are looking for a self-managing, dynamic, determined individual with good communication skills and strong analytical capabilities. A deliver-oriented person capable of working in multi-cultural and multi-project environments.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a related field, such as International Welding Engineering (IWE), Welding Technology, or a related field, and will be fluent in English (mandatory). French and/or Italian will be valuable.
