Job Summary
The Content Strategist & Editorial Lead is a key role in Vodafone Business's central marketing campaigns team, responsible for managing our B2B global digital content programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and orchestrate functional teams and creative shared services around a family of content topics and themes delivered through campaign activations and compelling digital moments throughout a B2B buyer's journey.
- Drive the calendarization and quantification of editorial capacity for Vodafone Business's social media presence, corporate blog, monthly email newsletter, and webinars.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Demand, Product, Sales, and Brand to temporally plan, build, and activate compelling digital content experiences throughout a B2B buyer's journey.
- Own the management of marketing's digital content editorial calendars, which includes blog, social media, email newsletter, and webinars.
- Align all digital content initiatives to agreed topics and themes, and to our target audience personas information and format preferences.
- Coordinate content creators, designers, speakers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the timely delivery and editorial of content.
- Utilise the campaigns teams' centre of excellence for Agile Scrum project management capabilities.
- Ensure published digital content is written and stylised with the guidance of Vodafone Business's tone of voice.
- Complete all checks on copy, images, metadata, and tagging before content is published.
- Facilitate and drive new subscriber and contact growth for Vodafone Business's newsletter and webinar programmes.
- Establish a content measurement framework and analyse results against success criteria (e.g., attraction, engagement, conversion) to guide future content decisions.
