Talan, an international advisory group on innovation and transformation through technology, is seeking a highly experienced Product Owner to lead the digital transformation of one of our biggest clients in the banking sector.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant IT experience, including user management, scope changes, and digital channel projects. They will be responsible for leading the proposal for a specific process/area to drive digital transformation, seeking efficiencies in processes and adding value to users.

The Product Owner will maintain a clear vision of user experience across digital channels, focusing on user stories to ensure optimal user experience. They will translate user stories into detailed technical requirements and tasks for developer squads, documenting the applicable definitions of ready/done.

The successful candidate will support stakeholders in prioritizing user stories and technical items, addressing defects from L0/L1/L2 IT Operation groups and tickets needing L3 support. They will assist development squads in balancing efforts between user story development and defect/ticket resolution daily.

The Product Owner will facilitate management of critical dependencies within IT products and across products. They will support the development and execution of acceptance tests based on criteria, coordinating test activities to ensure stories meet acceptance standards.

They will continuously update the delivery team on business changes in coordination with Business Product Owners and other Technical Product Owners. The Product Owner will approve the final release plan in collaboration with the Release Manager, aligning with agreed priorities and dependencies.

They will analyze and report on delivery, progress, risks, and opportunities. The Product Owner will ensure proper management of technical debt with SW Architecture leads' support.
