Safety and Health Manager

As a Safety and Health Manager at Nestlé España S, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in safety and health at the site. This involves effective implementation of Safety and Health plans, monitoring site standards, and recognizing good performance while challenging and addressing poor performance. You will also communicate with local authorities and communities as well as Nestlé management.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with local legislation and Nestlé S&H standards and principles by integrating S&H into planning and operational reviews
Guide the implementation of the S&H strategy and communicate it to management, ensuring the implementation plan includes effective risk management procedures and proposes modifications as required during the implementation journey to reflect changes in risk
Ensure the site is under control for employees, contractors, and visitors, with correct signage and relevant risks effectively managed, and ensure high standards of health and hygiene conditions for workers, with appropriate emergency medical response
Ensure implementation of site procedures and specific safe working practices are in place, with a focus on high frequency risks and high hazard tasks
Ensure training and coaching is provided to team leaders to develop their knowledge of risk management, legislation, and duties, and provide personal coaching and support
Ensure team leaders receive trusted guidance and support on S&H matters, identify and leverage expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestlé, and deliver high-quality and efficient S&H support, including exposure monitoring, health promotion, health surveillance, and training
Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvement, and promote effective communication of successes and learnings, and recognition for strong performers and contributors
