About the Role:
MCR International is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for defining and executing sourcing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

- Market Intelligence: Monitor global commodity trends to inform market intelligence and drive business decisions.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and optimize supply chains to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Procurement Planning: Develop and execute procurement plans that align with business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and competitive pricing.
- Procurement Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks to ensure business continuity and sustainability.
- Category Management: Develop and implement category management strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Business Acumen: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as economics, engineering, or business.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Sourcing Manager Global.
