Global Category Manager

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to lead our Procurement team in Barcelona or Budapest. As a key member of our global procurement community, you will drive strategic sourcing initiatives and manage a global team to deliver high-performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction for our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a global team to drive end-to-end sourcing processes within the category scope.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs and deliver productivity/savings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to anticipate, collect, and formalize business requirements.
- Assess the technology vendor market to determine the best options and sources of supply for Schneider Electric.
- Lead RFPs, negotiation, and supplier selection in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage contract negotiation, approval, and signature for large-scale, enterprise-wide global agreements.
- Analyze and optimize a portfolio of Professional services to continuously optimize cost and operational efficiencies.
- Proactively manage the supplier panel, evaluate performance, risk, and innovation, in alignment with the category strategy.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing Professional services in a global environment.
- Excellent sourcing & negotiation skills, including contractual and commercial negotiation, supplier management, and should-cost analysis.
- Good understanding and experience in legal aspects associated with Professional services, including Intellectual property, Personal data, cybersecurity, and DPA.
- Ability to influence and convince, with strong networking skills.
- Relevant experience in project management in a global environment, including change management.
- Subject matter expertise on Professional services market trends.
- Communication, collaboration, and functional leadership skills.
- Ability to deal with sensitive topics and exposure to executive leaders in a global environment.
- Result-oriented, dynamic, self-driven, and a team player.
- Ability to use e-sourcing and data analytics tools.
- Data-driven to leverage data analytics, data visualization, and data presentation for strategic analysis of category/spend portfolio and supplier panel.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal): mandatory.
- Strategic sourcing experience.
- Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred).
