The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) identifies and procures goods and services at the best value for business while maintaining product quality and ensuring alternative sources of supply are available. The Social Responsibility (SR) and Human Rights program drives customer trust and business continuity by ensuring respect for the rights of workers throughout Amazon's supply chain and operations.
As a Vendor Support Social Responsibility Ops, you will work under the leadership of the Sr. Project Manager (SR Operations EU) within the GPO Social Responsibility team. You will closely collaborate with Amazon's Social Responsibility team and the Global Procurement Organization to execute and support mechanisms that align with Amazon's human rights principles and Supply Chain Standards, ensuring supplier compliance.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Execute audits scheduling activities with Global Operations suppliers as per the SR audit program, collaborating with GPO teams, internal business partners, and external partners; this includes sending communications, following up with suppliers, and maintaining daily reporting and the SR audit database.
- Manage suppliers rejecting audits by following guidelines validated by Legal teams.
- Support activities required to prepare SR audits conducted on Amazon sites through regular communication with local teams and stakeholders.
- Review new and existing suppliers to ensure accuracy of contact information.
- Assist and support audit remediation activities for suppliers identified with high-risk findings.
- Handle day-to-day queries and issues, focusing on inventing and simplifying processes.
- Ability to resolve day-to-day problems and focus on delivering results.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment with good time management.
- Bachelor's degree or formal business administration or procurement qualification.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to make effective escalation decisions.
- Previous experience in Purchasing, shared service centers, or customer service centers.
