About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Airline Technology team at TUI Group. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering software solutions for airline operations systems from conception to operation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that our applications are continuously improved to support our business customers.
- Collaborate with architects, data analysts, digital analysts, software developers, technology leads, and UX/UI designers to clearly define, document, and communicate requirements.
- Evaluate solution options and consult with stakeholders to define and articulate business needs.
- Use your deep understanding of TUI products and systems, business models, processes, data flows, and their link to business capabilities to plan and deliver high-quality business analysis.
- Manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance.
- Support the software operation/management as 2nd-level support, including incident analysis, incident management, handling of configuration requests, and testing.
- Keep documentation of applications in your area of responsibility up to date.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in IT-system design and requirements management, preferably in the airline or tourism sectors.
- Proficiency in agile development methods and project management.
- Strong analytical skills for comprehending and communicating complex problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications and system design elements.
- Skilled in requirements elicitation techniques such as BPM, UML, test/use cases, and prototyping.
- Software proficiency in MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and AWS cloud solutions.
- Fluent in English, with advanced communication skills for interdisciplinary and international teamwork.
- Strong negotiation skills with both external and internal partners.
- Desirable is a technical or business degree, or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge in SQL queries, Java, web services, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, as well as understanding of IT architecture concepts; programming skills desirable.
