We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Testing Lab Engineer to join our team at BorgWarner. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of tests, including those in the DVP&R and other R&D tests.

Key Responsibilities

* Support R&T engineers in analyzing the feasibility of scheduled tests.
* Periodically schedule assigned test benches.
* Monitor planning to ensure a continuous flow of tasks and adherence to the plan.
* Procure test material, including consumables for test benches.
* Conduct technical feasibility analysis prior to each test and review test conditions.
* Provide support during tests for assembly, automation, and result obtaining.
* Execute complex tests when technicians are not capable.
* Support in breakdowns, maintenance, and improvements of test benches.
* Supervise safety measures to ensure tests are completely safe.
* Manage procedures and quality of assigned tests, supervising generated documentation and supporting documentation management to meet quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics preferred.
* Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, handling multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office user, with expertise in Excel.
* Fluency in Spanish and English, with German highly valued.
* Test and Validation Automotive experience or Industrial environment valuable.
