About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Sustainability Leadership Initiative Coordinator at Empresa reconocida. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our sustainability initiatives, working closely with our Academic Director and IESE researchers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translate and disseminate sustainability-related studies in practitioner-oriented channels, working closely with the Academic Director and IESE researchers.
  2. Develop overall project plans and strategies to support the coordination and delivery of existing student initiatives and development of new initiatives, in collaboration with the Academic Director.
  3. Lead assigned projects, including scoping, building and managing timelines, liaising with project collaborators and other stakeholders, and producing and/or reviewing deliverables.
  4. Support the development and management of Alumni-led activities when they involve sustainability topics.
  5. Plan and execute the SLI's public activities, such as speaking events, coordinating all logistics, supplies and contracts in accordance with projected budget.
  6. Develop and refine the SLI's communication strategies in consultation with the Academic Director and IESE's communication department, including creating or overseeing communication material and digital marketing strategy to create and maintain engaged audiences.
  7. Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the SLI finances, including budget reconciliation, creating expense reports, paying invoices, etc., and develop and maintain financial reports to support effective management and planning of activities.
  8. Other administrative support as required.

Requirements:

  1. A university degree in business, economics, sociology, engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience in project management involving corporate clients.
  3. Master's degree or coursework in sustainability or related fields (asset).
  4. 5-6 years' experience in a sustainability-related field (asset).
  5. Experience in a coordination or management role in university-based research initiatives (asset).

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Interest or expertise in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, ESG investing or social impact.
  2. Resourcefulness with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
  3. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, using good judgment in assessing difficult situations.
  4. Ability to work within a flexible schedule to accommodate the SLI's events and activities.
  5. High degree of professionalism and diplomacy with outstanding ability to work effectively and efficiently with internal and external clients at all levels of management.
  6. Ability to plan and manage events of various sizes.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  8. Strong attention to detail with an ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  9. Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
  10. Proven knowledge and expertise in using library research database systems.
  11. Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams.
  12. Experience maintaining and updating website content, with an aptitude to learn new software/programs quickly.
