Sustainability Director

At Volotea Alaeo Sl, we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Director to lead our efforts in reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our corporate values and business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of sustainability programs, including carbon reduction, sustainable procurement, and waste management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to promote and implement sustainable practices.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, and NGOs, to advocate for and advance sustainability initiatives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and prepare regular reports on sustainability performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Aeronautical Engineering, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sustainability or environmental management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.
- Experience reporting and communicating on sustainability topics to executive committees.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies and programs.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices in the aviation industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
