**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead four teams of engineers assigned to building tools for data scientists. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to operate with real autonomy and bring your ideas and insights to the table.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead four teams of engineers, with a tech lead in each team
  • Set teams up for success, help them navigate, coach, and deliver
  • Collaborate with the company's manager, Thomas, to implement ideas and insights
  • Develop a culture of performance within the teams

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience leading a team (people manager, not just tech lead)
  • A track record of creating a culture of performance
  • A trail of happy, high-performing engineers in your wake
  • Technical background in building software with JVM languages
  • Bonus points if you have worked with Scala

**What We Offer**

  • Up to €120,000 salary
  • Two days a week in an office in Vienna, with flexibility to work remotely
