Job Description
We're seeking a talented Graphic Designer Intern to join our team and contribute to the creation of visually engaging and on-brand assets. As a Graphic Designer Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Designing static assets such as photo montages, banners, and digital displays, and basic video assets such as product demos, tutorial videos, and brand videos.
- Incorporating our brand guidelines and design aesthetic to create visually engaging and on-brand assets.
- Working with the marketing and e-commerce team to understand the requirements for different channels and campaigns and design assets accordingly.
- Utilizing existing photography and footage to produce short-form videos that can be used across various channels such as social media, YouTube, and email campaigns.
- Testing and optimizing the assets for different screen sizes, resolutions, and placements.
- Adjusting lighting, color, composition, and cropping as needed to create visually pleasing and engaging images for various channels such as the website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Retouching images to remove blemishes, adjust skin tones, ensure product color resemblance, and enhance overall quality.
- Collaborating with the creative team to ensure the consistency and coherency of the photography content with the guidelines.
- Organizing and tagging all product and lifestyle images according to our established taxonomy and metadata standards.
- Ensuring that all images are properly tagged and labeled so that they can be easily found and used across various channels and campaigns.
- Collaborating with the e-commerce team to ensure that images are properly synced with the product information on the website and can easily be found in the right folders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of visual identity and branding principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
