Job Overview
This position is part of the Talent Market Place organized by Barcelona Activa in collaboration with BIST (Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology). The Barcelona Institute of Global Health is seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher for the European GOLIAT Initiative.

Working hours: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PMKey Responsibilities
- Overseeing data collection, exposure assessment, and data management
- Performing analyses and preparing original manuscripts for publication in reputable journals
- Presenting research findings at conferences, workshops, and on the project website
- Collaborating with study teams and external experts
- Mentoring master's and PhD students
Duration: 1 year
Weekly Hours: 40
Working Schedule: 9 AM to 6 PM
Annual Gross Salary: €31,000.
Requirements
PhD in Health/Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Environmental Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related field. Experience in child health/cohort research. A PhD in epidemiology, public health, or a related discipline is preferred.Familiarity with the research topic is advantageous.
Proficient in handling and analyzing complex datasets, with experience in statistical software, preferably R and STATA. Skills: A motivated researcher who can set and meet deadlines while delivering high-quality research outputs. Strong organizational and teamwork abilities. A professional demeanor with a keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative team player who can also work independently, demonstrating rational and critical thinking. Proficiency in Catalan, Spanish, and English, both written and spoken.
