This position is part of the Talent Marketplace organized by Barcelona Activa, in collaboration with the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology. The company Barcelona Institute for Global Health is seeking a highly qualified researcher to fill the vacancy of Postdoctoral Researcher for the European Project GOLIAT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate data collection, exposure assessment, and data cleaning
- Conduct analysis and draft original articles for publication in high-quality journals
- Disseminate findings at conferences, workshops, and through the study website
- Collaborate with the study teams and external specialists
- Supervise master and PhD students
Requirements:
- Type of contract: Temporary
- Duration of contract: 1 year
- Number of hours per week: 40
- Schedule: 9 hours to 18 hours
- Gross annual salary: €31,000
Desired Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Health/Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Environmental Epidemiology, Statistics, or related subject
- Previous experience in child health/cohort research
- PhD in epidemiology, public health, or related discipline
- Previous experience in the research topic is an advantage
- Experience in processing and managing complex and large datasets, as well as in statistical packages, preferably R and STATA
- Informatic: Motivated researcher capable of setting and meeting deadlines and delivering research outputs to the required standard
