Fiability Solutions is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities


• Implement software solutions on Windows Servers, APIs, and backend systems.

• Oversee project activities utilizing Azure DevOps.

• Conduct analysis of functional specifications.

• Develop functional test cases employing Gherkin syntax.

• Carry out both manual and automated end-to-end functional testing across Custom Windows Desktop Applications, APIs, and Android mobile platforms.

• Generate test input data using SQL, CSV, and JSON formats.

• Collaborate effectively with product and development teams to uphold quality standards.

• Flexible telecommuting options available up to 60% of the time.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

• Proficient in both English and Spanish; knowledge of French is a plus.

• Team-oriented individual with a background in collaborative projects, product support, or customer-facing roles.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing test cases using formal methodologies.

• Proven experience in executing functional tests, including UI and API (REST).

• Familiarity with Windows systems, including Internet Information Services (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP), Windows Services, and Remote Desktop.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and agile practices, including backlogs, sprints, PBIs, tasks, queries, and pipelines.

• Proficient in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

• Experience with Google Workspace tools, including Google Calendar, Sheets, and Drive.

• Skilled in bug analysis, identifying root causes, and compiling detailed defect reports based on Windows logs and custom application logs.

• Ability to manage multiple projects while understanding business requirements.

• Adaptability to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Skills


• Programming experience in Python and C#.

• Familiarity with Gherkin syntax.

• ISTQB certification.

• Knowledge of AWS.

• Proficiency in XML, JSON, GitHub, and GitHub Desktop.

• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
