We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Researcher & Data Analyst to join our Life Science & Healthcare (Infectious, Niche, Rare Disease) therapy group in Barcelona. The role encompasses three primary functions:
- Market Research and Insights Generation: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to provide high-quality syndicated and custom insights for our global pharmaceutical customers.
- Project Management and Execution: Manage and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, working closely with customers to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
As a Healthcare Researcher & Data Analyst, you will contribute your expertise in Infectious, Niche, Rare Disease therapeutic areas and translate market research data into actionable insights. If you have a passion for the dynamic oncology Infectious, Niche, and/or Rare disease landscape and are excited about the opportunity to work in the market assessment field within our vibrant Life Sciences & Healthcare (LS&H) group, we would like to hear from you.
About YouWe are looking for a highly qualified candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
- PhD in a Life Sciences or related discipline is required, with a focus on Infectious, Niche, Rare Disease being preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the Infectious, Niche, Rare Disease field is required, with familiarity with clinical drug development, commercialization processes, regulatory hurdles, and access being desired.
- Ability to interpret data and insights and turn them into compelling, quality narratives through a commercial lens is required, with excellent attention to detail.
- Keen interest in becoming a therapeutic indication-specific expert is essential.
- Excellent project management skills (ability to handle multiple projects/tasks for self and to manage competing priorities to deadlines) are required, with autonomy and minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, decision making, and using sound judgement aligned with team and company's business objectives is necessary.
- Comfortable in handling large datasets and information from multiple sources is required, with the ability to develop rational evidence-based arguments.
- Outstanding communication skills (written, presentation, oral) with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English are essential.
- Strong interest in engaging with customers to solve their business needs is required.
- Flexible, collaborative approach to work with a positive attitude is necessary.
As a Healthcare Researcher & Data Analyst, you will:
- Build and apply a strong understanding of disease-specific insights, including the dynamics of oncology Infectious, Niche, and/or Rare disease markets, regulatory and commercial aspects of drug development, and the wider pharmaceutical industry.
- Critically analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., clinical trial data, commercial information, market research data) to evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, assess opportunities, and build forecasts.
- Conduct primary market research via interviews and surveys with medical and healthcare experts in the oncology Infectious, Niche, Rare disease field, and secondary market research.
