Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer for Power Transformers

Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Córdoba, Spain. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing power transformers that meet customer specifications and international standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power transformers using 3D CAD software
  • Calculate and prepare drawings for manufacturing
  • Work closely with customers, sales, project management, and electrical design department to develop optimal technical solutions
  • Perform calculations on transformer parts based on static forces, dynamic forces, electromagnetic behavior, temperatures, and environmental conditions
  • Assist in the manufacturing process and participate in tender and quotation processes
  • Prepare specifications, technical reports, and related documents
  • Support and facilitate technical collaboration in case of critical issues
Requirements:
  • First experience of - 2 years + experience in design of power transformer
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and 3D CAD software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate in international projects
