Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Corporate Banking Tax team in our Bristol office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate contracts and bank loans, with experience in dealing with complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex cases, including corporate contracts and bank loans.
- Analyse and apply legal principles to derive technically sound, commercial strategies for clients.
- Draft and review correspondence, reports, and litigation documents.
- Maintain a high level of organisational skills and ensure that caseloads are managed in accordance with client quality and service level agreements.
- Co-ordinate instructions and workflow for key client accounts, including triaging instructions and delegating workload to team members.
- Supervise junior team members across a case from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the client's and our business, and how the two fit together.
Requirements
- 5+ years of PQE experience in corporate contracts and bank loans.
- Ability to run a caseload and work in an autonomous fashion.
- Strong academic record.
- Ability to think and act quickly and under pressure for clients who find themselves in crisis.
- Team-oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team.
