Job Summary

SII Deutschland GmbH, a leading engineering and IT company, is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer Embedded Software Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our embedded system organization, you will play a crucial role in the development of next-generation manned Aircraft, UAV, and eVTOL systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assign system requirements in accordance with relevant standards and client inputs.
  • Verify, create, and maintain specifications for subsystems, including interface design.
  • Derive technical and functional system architectures.
  • Modify or develop new software functionalities at different safety levels through object-oriented programming.
  • Plan and supervise the verification process and support validation and verification activities and tests for system approval.

Requirements

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics.
  • Relevant experience in embedded systems development, including software and/or hardware definition, design, or testing.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, such as C, C++, Ada, or similar.
  • Modeling skills with SysML, UML, or Rhapsody.
  • Experience with DOORS and aviation standards, such as DO-178, DO-254, DO-278, or DO-331.
  • Familiarity with agile development environments, such as Scrum.
  • Fluency in English and a desire to gain international working experience.
