Are you dedicated to maintaining exceptional software quality and excellence? At DNV, we are seeking a QA Software Engineer to spearhead innovative testing methodologies and enhance quality standards within our projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop Comprehensive Testing Solutions: Formulate robust testing strategies, methodologies, and plans, while creating automation scripts and establishing automated testing tools and infrastructure.
- Enhance Engineering Excellence: Identify and implement optimized solutions to rectify engineering inefficiencies and gaps in testing processes.
- Automate for Efficiency: Design and execute automated processes to bolster testability and productivity.
- Measure and Improve Metrics: Define and monitor key productivity and product health metrics, including quality, stability, and performance.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Testing Efforts: Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and Software Engineers to develop effective testing strategies and ensure appropriate tests are conducted in suitable configurations and environments.
- Advocate for Best Practices: Promote new tools, technologies, and best testing practices across teams, educating them on advancements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage Early in Product Development: Participate in product development by reviewing designs and documentation, exploring features early on, and providing valuable feedback.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT quality assurance and testing.
- A proven track record in developing and executing IT test strategies, methodologies, and plans.
- Demonstrable experience in API Testing.
- A quality mindset, with a focus on detail, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
It would be advantageous to have:
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.
