About the Internship: The Sales Development Intern will support the Commercial division and directly contribute to Market Research and Sales processes. This role will enable you to gain experience in core functions, build business acumen, and focus on teamwork while receiving continuous support and learning opportunities from our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research: Gather market intelligence for insights that inform business decisions and support the Industry Relations Sales team in examining market conditions for potential sales.
  2. Industry Relations Sales Development: Proactively develop sales opportunities with hospitality employers globally. Employers can be any business unit or corporate account directly linked with the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research (30%):
    • Source additional target prospects using various sales tools outside of the database.
    • Prioritize prospects, enriching the database with contact information and talking points.
    • Assign the shortlist of prospects within your assigned territory and Sales Development Representative (SDR) agents.
  2. Sales (70%):
    • Learn to use our CRM software (Salesforce) and create reports and dashboards.
    • Cold call to obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the qualified lead criteria.
    • Track prospects, identify decision makers, timelines, hot-buttons, and specific qualifications, and enter data accurately and consistently into the company's CRM.
    • Generate interest and create needs with potential clients.
    • Support the Sales team with presentations and other ad hoc projects on how to improve the Sales funnel.

Requirements:

  • You are currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's degree or online course and can provide an internship agreement.
  • You can commit to an internship of 6 months, ideally full-time (39 hours per week).
  • You are naturally curious and have a strong willingness to learn.
  • You are data-driven.
  • You are a great communicator and enjoy working in teams.
  • You have a high level (spoken and written) of English and French/Italian/Spanish/Portuguese/Arabic.
  • You are eligible to work in Barcelona.
