We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Assurance Professional to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our projects and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and perform safety assurance activities on projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement safety plans, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on safety-related matters, including safety analysis, verification, and validation.
- Build and maintain safety reports and cases, applying safety assurance methodologies and risk acceptance criteria.
- Defend safety case arguments in front of internal and external assessors, and develop action plans to address findings.
- Manage safety assurance engineers and resources, as needed.
- Engineering degree and 5 years of experience in safety signalling projects, with a focus on IXL and/or ERTMS track and/or ERTMS ONB and/or CBTC solutions.
- Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
- Relevant experience in safety assurance in connected railway signalling safety projects.
- Successful experience working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
- Working knowledge of safety methods, including safety plans, hazard analysis, and risk assessment.
