About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Process Expert PMO to join our EU Amazon Transportation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing a world-class middle mile process that delivers goods on time at the best cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong partnerships with senior leaders to monitor project progress, improve milestone tracking, and identify risks and support needed.
  • Manage the organization's portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maintaining a centralized repository for future reference and analysis.
  • Engage with other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers.
  • Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support business growth.
  • Support the improvement of standard work, creating benchmark standards, and auditing processes to streamline project reporting.
  • Analyze and solve barriers, focusing on understanding root causes, collaboration improvement among multiple stakeholders, and effective information flow.
About the Team

Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team is a diverse group that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, we help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Requirements
  • A degree in business, supply chain, economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in project management or management consulting, including handling multiple ongoing projects.
  • Relevant experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Relevant experience communicating with a wide range of senior stakeholders.
  • Approximately 20-30% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in process improvement.
  • Experience in analytical tool building.
  • Recognized project management certifications, such as PMP/CAPM/PRINCE2.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
