About the Role

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We're seeking an experienced Inhouse Consultant to join our IT Team in Madrid and help us take our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead data and analytics projects with global reach, providing actionable insights to our business units.
  • Partner with global divisions, business units, and group functions to scope new projects, gather functional requirements, develop data models, and design front-end applications.
  • Develop, test, and implement solutions based on our Qlik Sense platform.
  • Proactively identify needed changes in the application lifecycle and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Plan and deliver trainings for end users, especially in the context of Self-Service Analytics.
  • Support proper operations and maintenance of existing application landscape.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business studies or equivalent experience.
  • Min. 4 years of working experience in a similar in-house consulting role in an international company.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions based on Qlik Sense.
  • Familiarity with Governed Self Service BI concepts.
  • Basic knowhow in SQL and ability to create views and ad-hoc queries incorporating business logic.
  • Experience in back-end solutions, especially Snowflake is an advantage.
