**Job Summary**

As a Global Communications Manager at Hitachi Vantara Corporation, you will be responsible for leading the external and internal communications programs across the Global Product Groups (GPG) Circuit-Breaker and Grid Components. This GPG is global, and your stakeholder groups are also global. Your primary goal will be to maximize visibility and support the execution of business strategy, thereby contributing to improving market position and customer retention.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and Coordinate Integrated Communication Plans: Work closely with the GPG and Functions to develop and coordinate integrated communication plans, budgets, and processes that align with business priorities.
  • Build Content Strategies: Develop content strategies, plans, and assets, including messaging, positioning, thought leadership, and storytelling across various channels.
  • Provide Strategic Support: Provide strategic and communication support regarding the introduction of new technologies and new product launches.
  • Act as Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador for the Business Unit, working closely with respective functions and workstreams leads to ensure coordination and brand compliance.
  • Support Leaders: Support leaders in communications activities, as needed.
  • Drive Communications Efforts: Actively drive communications efforts around events, including Hitachi Energy events, industry events, webinars, and internal communications.
  • Nurture Media Relations: Nurture media relations and produce content through editorials, press releases, trade media stories, features blogs, and social media posts.
  • Provide Support to Hubs: Provide communications support to hubs within the Business Unit and to the Global Head of Business Unit Communications.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build and maintain close collaboration with peers and key stakeholders across the Global Product Group, Business Unit, and corporate level.
  • Ensure Compliance: Work in compliance with the Hitachi Energy SCM rules and governance.
  • Manage Suppliers: Manage third-party suppliers to maximize cost efficiency and minimize overlaps in the Business Unit.
  • Measure Campaign Outcomes: Measure communications campaign outcomes, strive for continuous improvement, document lessons learned, and suggest changes.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record, and an interest in technology and sustainability.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking combined with hands-on approach to translate plans to actions and monitor progress.
  • Strong Copywriting Skills: Strong copywriting skills and the ability to simplify very complex information quickly.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Cross-functional communication skills (i.e., ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders).
