Research Technician Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Group

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Technician to join our team at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our research projects focused on neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Parkinson's disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct basic laboratory histological techniques, including stereological cell analysis, IHC, IF, and confocal microscopy.
- Perform molecular techniques, such as ELISA, RTqPCR, WB, and Dot Blot.
- Work with animal models and knowledge of animal experimentation techniques, including stereotaxic injection of AdenoAssociatedViral Vectors (AAV) and behavioral tests.
- Process human and animal samples, including brain tissue and biofluids.
- Use specific software for image and data analysis, such as OlyVIA, Image J, GraphPad, and Stata.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health/Life Sciences.
- Completed Master's degree in Neurosciences, Translational Biomedicine Research, Microbiology, or similar.
- Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
