**Your Future Role**

We are seeking a full-time Safety Assurance Engineer in Madrid to join our team. As a Safety Assurance Specialist, you will work alongside young and proactive teammates to apply your safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing safety assurance activities under the governance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager (PSAM)
  • Working closely with teams across the business, including engineering, to ensure the application of safety methods and processes
  • Delivering and performing safety analysis, including risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation
  • Attending periodic safety reviews and supporting actions to close findings from internal or external assessors

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree
  • Specific training in Railway Safety Domain
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Safety Assurance in connected Railway Signalling Safety Projects (IXL and/or ERTMS track and/or ERTMS ONB and/or CBTC)
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English, with French being a desirable asset
  • Experience working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment
  • A positive personality, rigorous, and reliable
  • Ability to promote teamwork and communication
  • A planning culture, committed to delivering on time
