**Job Summary**

At ING, we are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team of experts. As a key member of our SRE team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platform, providing exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement SRE practices to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SRE objectives with business goals.
  • Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
  • Improve service reliability through blameless post-incident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem reoccurrence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in SRE and platform management.

**Requirements**

  • Proven track record and technical skills in system design principles, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, Linux, system monitoring, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, and configuration management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems using high- and low-level debugging tools and techniques throughout all our stack.
  • Knowledge in Ansible, Docker, Azure DevOps, cloud computing, and container orchestration.
  • System testing skills, including performance testing to stress the systems and find the limits.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git) and ability to automate using Python/Go.
