Offshore Tuggerhoist Operator Position

Mar Recruitment & Consulting is seeking an Offshore Tuggerhoist Operator for various projects globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate crane tugger hoists utilizing dedicated consoles.
- Follow directives from the Main Crane Operator or Deck Foreman, ensuring adherence to machine limits and safety protocols based on weather and sea conditions.
- Maintain vigilance on the Main Crane's movements to promptly respond to instructions.
- Be aware of the operational environment to prevent potential equipment clashes.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures during crane operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the crane and operator's cabin.
- Cease lifting activities if safety or technical issues arise that could lead to damage or injury.
- Communicate effectively with Main Crane Operators and Deck Foreman during operations.
Qualifications:
- Possession of Stage 1 or 2 Crane Operator certification (Stage 3 is not applicable).
- Proven experience operating Crane Tuggers.
- Ability to operate constant tension winches.
- Preference for younger candidates, though experienced older candidates will be considered.
- Proficient English skills to interact with Main Crane Operators and Banksmen.
