Join Our Team as a Junior Research Group Leader in Big Data Analysis and AI

We are seeking a talented Junior Research Group Leader to join our team at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO). As a leading cancer research centre, we are committed to expanding our activities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data analysis in several areas of cancer research.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI and Big Data analysis, with a proven track record of developing and applying AI-based solutions in cancer research. They will also have excellent leadership skills, necessary to develop and head an independent research group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead an independent research group in AI and Big Data analysis for cancer research
  • Collaborate with other CNIO groups to advance cancer research and improve patient outcomes
  • Design and implement AI-based solutions for cancer research
  • Supervise and mentor junior researchers

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field with at least 4 years of postdoc experience
  • Excellent scientific record in AI and Big Data analysis
  • Leadership skills necessary to develop and head an independent research group
  • Interest in collaborating with other CNIO groups
