About The Role
We are in search of a Data Scientist who possesses a robust scientific approach and relevant experience to help us drive societal impact through market solutions. You will join a team of more than 20 international Data Scientists, all of whom share a deep passion for data science and a commitment to continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and optimizing existing machine learning and data science applications.
- Developing new models from inception to deployment.
- Independently analyzing intricate data sets.
- Contributing to the creation of proofs of concept.
- Staying attuned to business needs and opportunities.
- Engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders from various backgrounds.
Location
This position offers flexibility with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Requirements
We encourage applications from candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science or a PhD in a related field such as Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Research, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in the Python data science ecosystem (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn).
- Experience working with collaborative codebases (Git) and production-level code.
- A genuine interest in sustainability and its impact.
- A willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on transparency and constructive dialogue.
- Self-motivated and deeply passionate about leveraging data and science for impactful outcomes.
- Excellent proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services.
- Experience with Docker, GitLab, and Airflow.
