The Gas Power division focuses on developing advanced, efficient technologies and services powered by natural gas, alongside solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions. Within the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of power generation systems, ensuring that energy providers can deliver reliable and cost-effective energy solutions.

Role Responsibilities

As a participant in the Engineering Field Specialist Program (EFSP), you will acquire comprehensive technical knowledge, lean methodologies, and leadership capabilities. This program offers a unique blend of in-person and online training, complemented by mentorship from seasoned Technical Field Advisors through practical, on-the-job experiences.

You will gain invaluable hands-on experience while traveling to various locations to support energy provision for communities. Upon successful completion of the Engineering Field Specialist Program, you will qualify for a Technical Field Advisor role focusing on Gas Turbines.

In your capacity as a Technical Field Advisor for Gas Turbines, you will oversee site operations, including the planning, organization, integration, and monitoring of resources such as personnel, tools, and technical support.

Key Contributions

  • Uphold a strong safety culture to ensure that all work performed meets the technical standards set by FieldCore.
  • Manage and coordinate site activities related to Heavy Duty Gas operations.
  • Lead and supervise on-site systems and equipment, ensuring ongoing preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations are conducted post-installation.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests for malfunctioning equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and adhere to company standards regarding operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at client sites.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including job status reports and customer communications, in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through a commitment to quality service.
  • Generate accurate technical reports for client records and future reference.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with company standards by contractors and craft personnel.
  • Direct and manage necessary aftermarket upgrades at the site level.

Special Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
  • Availability to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to spend significant time away from home for training and field assignments.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should be proficient in English and possess strong technical skills along with a passion for engineering. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
