Senior UI/UX Artist Job Description

Rovio is seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Artist to join our team in Stockholm or Barcelona. As a Senior UI/UX Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for our flagship title, Angry Birds 2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement UI/UX elements for Angry Birds 2, including wireframes, visual layouts, and game visuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX elements with game mechanics and art.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in UI/UX design and game development.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for mobile games, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch.
  • Experience with game engines, preferably Unity 3D.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, color theory, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
