Job Summary
Fichtner is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager in the field of substations and electrical installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute substations, including primary and secondary system components as well as protection systems.
- Supervise project participants to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure client requirements are met and project is handled in accordance with company requirements.
- Prepare requirements specifications, compare and evaluate bids, and design documentation review.
- Witness acceptance tests and ensure compliance with quality, occupational health & safety, environmental protection, and information security standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- Relevant professional experience in power transmission, especially substations and switchgear.
- Experience in planning and construction of substations.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills an advantage.
- Experience as a project manager an advantage, but not essential.
- Willingness to travel for international and national projects.
