Business Insights Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insights Analyst to join our team at Glaxosmithkline. As a key member of our Commercial Business Units, you will play a critical role in providing business insights to support business goals, strategies, and tactics.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as an insights, data, and analytical consultant across all departments, including CoE, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Decision Support, Data Management, Finance, Forecasting, and other partners.
- Support Commercial and Finance stakeholders in establishing and developing medium- to long-range strategic plans by identifying internal and external strategic issues and opportunities.
- Engage with the business function to identify and prioritize projects where data can be beneficial and define the detailed business question/problem.
- Partner with Marketing and Finance teams to develop brand forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of data solutions and initiatives by identifying the data that can be used, ensuring the output is understood and usable by users, validating the data/insights results, and developing recommendations based on insights.
- Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
- Prior working experience in a business insights or analytics role, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical business.
- Ability to translate advanced analytic solutions into business contexts and vice versa, adding business value through data insights and analysis.
- Experience in reporting tools (Power BI) or other analytics tools.
