Key Responsibilities- Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal sales calls and customer interactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales revenue and profit dollars.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, sales volume, and expenses.
- Attend sales meetings and training programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Stay informed on major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing business and customer needs.
- Manage and control sales expenses to ensure timely submission of business expenses.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of Heritage's service offerings.
- Four-year college degree required; Sales, Business, Marketing, or Science preferred.
- 3 years proven industry-related sales experience required, or 7+ years of proven related industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of computers and working understanding of all Heritage services.
- Proven sales ability and ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements.
- Travel required 80% of the time, overnight travel required.
