Job Title: Part Time - HSSQE Technical Advisor Barcelona

As a Part Time - HSSQE Technical Advisor in Barcelona, you will play a crucial role in supporting operational Health, Safety, Environment, and HSE activities. Your specialist functional knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with HSE standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of the Business Unit HSE strategy, with a focus on implementation and monitoring.
  • Provide cross-functional advice and guidance on HSE management requirements, ensuring seamless integration with site operations.
  • Develop and compile HSE improvement plans, reporting on performance to the HSE Business Partner and recommending areas for improvement.
  • Identify high HSE risk activities and prioritize improvement actions, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Monitor the availability and quality of risk assessments and safe working procedures provided by contractors and vendors.
  • Support assurance activities to confirm compliance with relevant legislation and site HSE standards.
  • Participate in incident investigations and monitor post-incident improvement actions to ensure effective risk management.
  • Develop a deep understanding of site operations, applying this knowledge to foster a strong HSE culture.
  • Provide day-to-day HSE advice to the local business unit, ensuring HSE standards and policies are relevant, understood, and applied.
  • Support continuous improvement activities and develop project proposals to drive business growth.
  • Lead by example, promoting a safe workplace and enforcing safe working practices.
