Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HSSQE Technical Advisor to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our HSSQE Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting operational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Business Unit HSE strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and site standards.
  2. Provide guidance and advice on HSE compliance, risk management, and operational safety to site-based teams.
  3. Develop and maintain Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) improvement plans, reporting on performance and recommending improvements.
  4. Identify high-risk activities and prioritize improvement actions, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.
  5. Support assurance activities to confirm contractors, suppliers, and visitors comply with relevant legislation and site HSE standards.
  6. Participate in incident investigations and monitor post-incident improvement actions to ensure effective risk management.
  7. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of site operations, applying this knowledge to promote a positive HSE culture.
  8. Provide day-to-day HSE advice to local business units, ensuring HSE standards and policies are relevant, understood, and applied.
  9. Support continuous improvement activities, developing project proposals and business cases as required.
  10. Lead by example, ensuring compliance with local HSE policies and procedures, promoting a safe workplace, and enforcing safe working practices.
