**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking a Senior Packaging Designer to join our team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will support a wide array of local and international clients with their marketing challenges.

**Responsibilities**

  • Design and produce a wide variety of formats, including print, displays, and presentations, with a heavy emphasis on packaging.
  • Develop packaging concepts and ideas that align with client requirements.
  • Create mockups in 3D and prototypes of packaging designs to test and refine ideas.
  • Execute mid to high complexity briefs.
  • Confidently present designs to both internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of design decisions and recommendations.
  • Ensure all brief requirements are fulfilled.
  • Support the Creative Director on mid to high complexity briefs.
  • Ensure the brief is fully understood before any work starts.
  • Understand all technical specifications supplied by media agencies.
  • QC all assets before sending to Content Creator for final QC.
  • Ensure assets are on brief, to spec, and on brand.

**Requirements**

  • 3/4+ years of experience in packaging design.
  • Experience in the design process for packaging materials for products, including brainstorming, sketching, and creating prototypes to create eye-catching designs.
  • An outstanding eye for great design and a passion for delivering creative work.
  • Ability to proactively suggest improvements to brief.
  • Solid understanding of digital printing processes.
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A good balance between great technical design skills and creativity.
  • Stay current on packaging design trends and technologies.
  • Nice-to-haves experience in FMCG.
  • Skills in Cinema 4D and Redshift to modeling and basic animation.

**Languages**

  • Spanish (mandatory).
  • English (highly recommended).
  • Any other languages are a plus.
