We're currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Designer to join our team in Barcelona, who will work closely with a diverse range of local and international clients to address their marketing challenges.

As part of the hiring process, a Packaging design test will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and produce a wide variety of formats, including print, displays, and presentations, with a strong emphasis on packaging.
  2. Develop packaging concepts and ideas that align with client requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and goals.
  3. Create high-quality mockups and prototypes of packaging designs to test and refine ideas, leveraging expertise in 3D modeling and prototyping.
  4. Execute complex briefs with confidence, working closely with the Creative Director to ensure seamless project delivery.
  5. Present designs to both internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of design decisions and recommendations.
  6. Maintain attention to detail, ensuring all brief requirements are met and exceeded.
  7. Support the Creative Director on complex briefs, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
  8. Ensure a thorough understanding of the brief before commencing work, and stay up-to-date with the latest technical specifications from media agencies.
  9. Conduct quality control checks on all assets before sending them to the Content Creator for final review.
  10. Verify that all assets are on brief, to spec, and on brand, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the design process.
Requirements:
  1. 3-4+ years of experience in packaging design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in packaging materials and design.
  2. Experience in the design process for packaging materials, including brainstorming, sketching, and creating prototypes to create eye-catching designs.
  3. An exceptional eye for great design and a passion for delivering creative work that drives results.
  4. Ability to proactively suggest improvements to briefs, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach to design.
  5. Solid understanding of digital printing processes and a strong skillset in Adobe Creative Suite.
  6. A good balance between technical design skills and creativity, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  7. Stay current on packaging design trends and technologies, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  8. Nice-to-haves: experience in FMCG and skills in Cinema 4D and Redshift for modeling and basic animation.
  9. Experience in the production of final arts, with a strong understanding of the design process and a keen eye for detail.
Languages:
  1. Spanish (mandatory).
  2. English (highly recommended).
  3. Any other languages are a plus.
