About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Hero Gaming. As a key member of our Analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Business Intelligence Solutions: Design and implement reports and dashboards using SQL and Tableau to meet business owners' requirements.
  2. Automate Reporting Processes: Develop workflows to automate reporting processes and build interactive tools for stakeholders to configure report parameters.
  3. Support Business Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert, supporting colleagues in creating visualizations and interpreting data.
  4. Train End Users: Provide training and documentation to help end users become self-sufficient in using data tools.
  5. Liaise with Data Warehouse Team: Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team to develop and implement business intelligence strategies and processes.
  6. Assist Data Analysts: Support data analysts with the delivery of larger, complex projects.
  7. Handle Multiple Projects: Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Maintain Reporting Platforms: Ensure the maintenance and support of our reporting platforms.
Requirements
  1. Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Fluent in English: Be fluent in English.
  3. Quantitative Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, or operations research.
  4. Business Intelligence Experience: Have 2-3 years of work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations/dashboards based on large data sets and/or working with complex queries.
  5. SQL Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of SQL for reporting.
  6. Visualization Tools: Have experience using visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.
  7. Software Applications: Stay up to date on software applications within your area of responsibility.
  8. Fast-Paced Environment: Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while interacting with various stakeholders.
  9. Autonomy and Proactivity: Possess the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  10. Training and Certifications: Be willing to undergo any training and certifications as directed by the company.
  11. Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate data and technical ideas in writing and verbally to both team members and non-technical colleagues.
  12. Programming Knowledge: Have some knowledge of programming, ideally Python, or be willing to learn.
Nice to Have Requirements
  1. iGaming Industry Experience: Have experience within the iGaming industry.
  2. Visualization Tools: Have experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.
  3. Data Warehousing and ETL: Possess a basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
  4. Web APIs and Data Cleaning: Have knowledge of using web APIs, web scraping, data cleaning, and writing simple ETL scripts.
