Software Engineer Job Description

Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team of back-end developers and QA engineers to develop and maintain our products and applications portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new systems, enhancements, and software solutions using business analysis and technical skills.
• Participate in analysis, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of software engineering projects.
• Ensure timely design and code reviews, and document them.
• Contribute to the development of new applications standards and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience building Web-based and server-based applications using Java, Spring, relational database (Postgresql), and AWS.
• Experience with search frameworks, preferably OpenSearch, and RESTful services, GitHub, Jira.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with project management and/or system life cycle development methodology, particularly Agile/SAFe.
• Proactive in identifying and assimilating emerging technologies and applications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, subject to peer review.
• Ability to set and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and interpretative skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
