About the Role:
Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team of back-end developers and QA engineers to develop and maintain our products and applications portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, integrate, and implement new systems, enhancements, and software solutions using business analysis and technical skills, including full spectrum of system life cycle development.
- Participate as a team member in analysis, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of software engineering projects, setting and meeting realistic timelines and deadlines.
- Ensure that design and code review occur in a timely manner and are documented.
- Contribute to the development of new applications standards and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience building Web-based and server-based applications using Java, Spring, relational database (Postgresql), and AWS experience.
- Experience with search frameworks, preferably OpenSearch, experience with RESTful services, GitHub, and Jira.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with project management and/or system life cycle development methodology, particularly Agile/SAFe.
- Proactive in identifying and assimilating emerging technologies and applications.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, subject to peer review.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and interpretative skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
