Daily Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will guide the work team to ensure the effective planning and execution of various tasks and activities during the maintenance and installation of Large Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Generators.

Key Contributions
  • Oversee and manage new unit installations, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, overhauls, repairs, modifications, and upgrades at the standards set by management for Large Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, or Generators.
  • Evaluate and inspect the necessary standard and specialized tools and equipment during the on-site outage preparation phase.
  • Organize daily shift activities and ensure effective communication during shift handovers with colleagues, clearly articulating job requirements to team members and subcontractors.
  • Guarantee accurate documentation and timely submission of check sheets, testing procedures, spare parts lists, daily shift reports, status updates, and field reports related to assembly and disassembly tasks during all outages.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, project managers, tooling facilities engineers, outage managers, and HSE professionals to support outage preparation activities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in a technical field OR a Vocationally Trained/High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the power generation sector, ideally with Siemens Energy Gas Turbines or Steam Turbines or Generators.
  • Demonstrated expertise in general mechanical maintenance of power generation equipment or in the Oil & Gas sector, with a readiness to work hands-on under pressure and in challenging conditions. Experience with specialist tasks such as general assembly, blades, and vanes assembly on Siemens Gas Turbines is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to interpret and work independently with technical drawings, specifications, and unit conversions in line with international codes and standards.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strong English language proficiency, both spoken and written, is essential; additional language skills are beneficial.
  • Competent digital literacy, with proficiency in relevant IT applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to undertake additional responsibilities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Innovative thinker and lifelong learner, committed to developing improved solutions for technical challenges based on solid technical knowledge and creativity.
  • Team-oriented individual with effective communication skills and the ability to resolve issues under pressure in a complex environment, collaborating with diverse international teams.
  • Sound understanding of HSE and Quality standards relevant to the field.
  • Willingness to travel independently and extensively to various work locations.
