We are seeking a highly skilled Process Chemist to join our team at Farmhispania Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for laboratory work as a Chemist within the Process development department, developing synthetic plans and designing experiments to test the suitability of chemical processes for large-scale use.
Evaluation and proposal of different synthetic alternatives considering chemical complexity, profitability, intellectual property, and EHS aspects will be a key part of this role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related discipline, excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish, and the ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment.
Proven technical experience in the fine chemicals industry and experience in chemical synthesis and process development will be highly valued.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining familiarity with Regulatory Guidelines and requirements, including cGMP, and communicating effectively with peers, leads, and management about the status of assigned activities.
Reporting, communicating, and discussing project progress with all involved stakeholders, including collaboration with cross-functional multinational teams, will also be a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have excellent housekeeping and safety practices, good communication and IT skills, and a commercially oriented mindset with a clear customer focus.
We are looking for a self-motivated, creative, and flexible individual who can effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively perform literature searches using available tools such as SciFinder and experience using Design of Experiment (DOE) principles.
