The responsibilities include evaluating business needs, proposing optimal CPQ methodologies, and spearheading the technical setup and rollout of CPQ systems. The Senior CPQ Consultant guarantees that pricing frameworks, product setups, and quoting processes are effective, scalable, and adhere to organizational policies. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales process and boosting sales productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Recommend, execute, and oversee the deployment of Salesforce CPQ solutions that align with business needs Create implementation timelines and estimates for various phases of the delivery lifecycle, encompassing development, testing, training, communication, deployment, and post-launch support Convert business requirements into scalable Salesforce CPQ designs, utilizing best practices and implementing Salesforce-based solutions to meet or surpass expectations. Maintain existing Salesforce CPQ solutions (and related applications), engaging in development and deployment tasks that include requirements definition, conceptual and technical design, system configuration and development, system and acceptance testing, go-live, and production handover Accountable for configuring, customizing, and deploying modifications related to Salesforce CPQ product rules, price rules, and catalog, while identifying areas for transformation and consolidation Provide expertise in pricing, quoting, and contract management processes within the Salesforce CPQ platform Present solution alternatives to clients, assessing the advantages and disadvantages of declarative configuration versus coding and customization Conduct impact analysis for scope change requests, documenting modifications to requirements, configuration, and data mapping Participate in the development of training materials and deliver training to end-users and Administrators Offer daily functional and technical support for Salesforce CPQ Assist with Tier 2 issues submitted by Salesforce Users and identify opportunities for resolving technical debt Perform other duties as necessary to support and fulfill the operational needs of the organization Stay informed about the latest Salesforce CPQ features and functionalities, recommending best practicesDesired Qualifications:
Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Business, or a related field Over 5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining Salesforce CPQ and Advanced Approvals solutions More than 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator At least 2 years of practical experience with packaged applications, preferably Salesforce, implementing full project lifecycles. Other relevant experience may include Oracle CPQ Cloud, Apttus, Oracle Fusion CRM, or similar enterprise-level applications In-depth understanding of CPQ pricing waterfall, price rules, product rules, product catalog, approval chains, and order management-based solutions with advanced pricing and configuration capabilities Experience conducting impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to manage change processes within a defined framework, including regularly reviewing issues management and change control logs to assess status and identify potential risks Strong background in agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Bitbucket Familiarity with the Salesforce product suite including CPQ, Billing, Salesforce1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Communities, and AppExchange solutions Understanding of complementary CPQ applications such as DocuSign and MuleSoftCertifications:
