About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Business team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our business customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code that meets industry standards.
  • Work with new technologies to improve usability and increase performance and scalability.
  • Help translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Deliver operationally stable solutions that provide good customer experience.
Requirements
  • Experience in professional software development.
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate in spoken and written English in a business setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full software development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and big data technologies.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
