As a Controls Commissioning Engineer, you will work closely with our electrical and software engineering teams to develop a strong understanding of Dematic control systems. Your expertise will be essential in producing electrical and software design amendments, ensuring the highest quality of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret electrical layout and schematic drawings using CAD tools to ensure accurate installation.
- Assist in factory testing of PLC and visualization software to ensure seamless functionality.
- Develop and maintain sorter control system configuration databases for assigned projects.
- Verify the quality of electrical installation on site and troubleshoot errors to ensure timely completion.
- Liaise with electrical installation supervisors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Integrate ASRS control systems with external subsystems, ensuring full functionality and compliance with project specifications.
- Provide support to site-wide system commissioning activities until acceptance by the end-user.
- Record software commissioning test results and provide feedback to engineering teams for design amendments.
- Hold a degree or experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.
- Have a strong understanding of automation, engineering, and technological innovation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to various cultural backgrounds.
- Self-motivated, initiative, and seeking continuous self-development.
- Full working proficiency in English and a valid driving license.
